Heavyweight Brock Lesner, the self proclaimed "Baddest Man in the Planet," was defeated horrifically in the first round at UFC 121. Competitor Cain Velasquez proved to have what it takes to dethrone the Heavyweight Champion, making himself the first Mexican Heavyweight to hold the belt. The first and only round began with Lesner going strait for the takedown only to be stuffed by Valasquez. As the two decided to stand up and throw hands, it took Velasquez 31 strikes to knockout the Heavyweight Champion, while Lesner only had but 9 strikes landed.
It is certain that Brock Lesner simply got outclassed the whole entire 4 minutes and 12 seconds of the fight. Valasquez made it look as if it was the Champion's first fight in the UFC and now UFC fans must ask themselves, is this new champion quite possilbly also the new "Baddest Man in the Planet?"
